The unstoppable Michael Jung aboard his lovely mare fischerRocana FST were in picture-perfect form at last weekend’s Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, and whether or not you were able to catch any of the live-streaming performance, it’s always worth a second (or third, or fourth) look at this champion pair.

Jung and fischerRocana FST started out the weekend on top with this textbook dressage test:

… and things only went up from there. If you didn’t already have a mare-crush on “Roxie,” you will after watching her demolish the cross-country course with her ears happily pricked forward the entire way.

While it’s never truly over until it’s over, Jung’s unprecedented four-rail lead going into show jumping looked pretty darn promising, and despite bringing one down, Jung managed to lock down his place in history as the first non-American back-to-back Rolex winner.
