‘Oh Crap’ Monday
Monday is the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest batch of reader-submitted “Oh Crap” photos and videos!
Laura Perry: “First time out, in a long time. Went to an eventing schooling show. Dressage was “ok”, stadium felt great just 1 rail down and no refusals, was super excited to go cross country… first jump out of the box… the black mulch was going to kill her. Please note the hind end looks awesome when engaged.”
Emma Hinke: “We were working on one stride grids in a lesson (set at BN/N height and 18′ distances – so pretty tight!) and my saint of a mare got a touch overwhelmed. It was pretty evident from the moment we landed from the first element that “This would not end well!” Luckily she kept her head up and saved me from turning into a lawn dart!”
Liza Bunce: “We were set up for the right strides to the jump and then BAM — Chance decided that he wanted to test how far he could stretch. He has a happy face until he realizes he has to land and the fact that he took off very very unexpectedly early with no physical body language to warn his mother caused a tight rein… ” (Click a photo to open the full gallery.)
