It’s really interesting to hear people share their experiences with various heavy horses throughout their life. Indeed, these horses are about as versatile as they come — driving, farming, showing … there are so many uses for these bigger horses.

Obviously the popularity of machinery for farming has taken a toll on the heavy breeds found in the UK as their most common job opportunities have dwindled.

It’s comforting to know, though, that people still work tirelessly to promote these horses who have given so much over time to their human peers.
