‘Oh Crap’ Monday, Presented by Bimeda
Kick off your week with a crash.
Monday is the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest batch of reader-submitted “Oh Crap” photos and videos!
Cassie Astle: “These photos are from an open pleasure show in Skowhegan Maine in 2014. The horse I planned to take was recovering from Lyme so my eventing horse, an Irish Sport Horse named Rhode Island Red (Dundee), had to fill in. It was not exactly the kind of show he’s used to, plus he’s scared to death of everything in the world. He actually won a championship class and got a big fancy ribbon which he was certain was going to eat him alive. Our “victory pass” was more of a “head for the hills, out of control, gallop”. All I could do was hang on and hope we didn’t run over anybody important. Photo credit goes to Spotted Vision Photography.”
Lynn Thompson: “Here is a frame by frame of my husband falling off during the pole run from last weekends fun show. I’m starting to think he should skip the poles and invest in a helmet!”

Amanda Braun: “Cody (4-year-old Holsteiner) went for his first xc schooling and got to try a ditch. My trainer Rose Agard is getting coached by Kate Chadderton while I videoed his attempt. He hesitated, tested stepping through it, then launched. Gotta love baby moments!”
Cody schooled the beginner novice fences with my trainer, Rose riding and Kate Chadderton giving a lesson. This is what he thought of the ditch! Kudos to Rose for sticking it.
