Horsenista: 2015 Spring Fashion
This year’s trends are color, color and more color!
Let’s check out a few of Horsenista’s spring fashion picks.
I love this green wrap dress by Milo. The pattern is understated from a distance and super horse-centric up close.
This Need for Steed top from Mod Cloth is made from a similar fabric.
This Horseshoe Patchwork Maxi dress by Vineyard Vines would be perfect for women who prefer longer dress styles. We have to hide those albino legs, ammarite?
It’s all about the equestrian details with this colorful belted dress. I give the outfit bonus points for having two hidden pockets.
For an understated burst of color, check out this Gallop with Glamour Dress by Mod Cloth. At $23.99 this little piece is a steal.
I also love the Gallop and At ‘Em dress for just a bit more money. This fabric will be a perfect fit for anyone interested in Swedish Dala horses.
For the woman really looking to make a colorful statement, check out this Hermes Vintage Silk Button Down shirt. The website describes it as a “wearable collector’s piece.” At $325, I hope it comes with an insurance policy.
Finally, I love this sheer Supersonic Steed top by Mod Cloth. This could be paired with heels for a night out on the town or Dubarrys at an afternoon event.
But my favorite spring look has to be this Amor Vintage Inspired Bright Lime Green dress on Pinterest. This would be perfect for a Sunday polo match or horse race. Unfortunately, this outfit appears to be one of those mythical “Pinterest only” finds. If someone can locate an actual dealer, Horsenista will send you 10 gold stars.
For men, polo styles are making a comeback. Classic, tailored separates with sharp details should be staples of the horse husband’s wardrobe.
Check out this ASOS Jacquard Tie in horse print.
For a brighter punch of color, take a look at this Horse Race Day tie by Vineyard Vines. It comes in blue or yellow.
I love everything about this dark blue polo by Massimo Dutti paired with khakis. This man could easily be wining and dining a potential client or lugging the kids, water, and grooming bag at an event.
