RIP, Horse Blankets: 7 More That Didn’t Survive Winter 2015
Cue the funeral dirge… these blankets fought the good fight but ultimately joined their shredded brethren in that happy blanket rack in the sky. RIP.
For last week’s 24-Hour Photo Challenge, we asked readers to send us photos of their fallen blankets (see “9 Blankets That Fought the Good Fight“). A few late entries trickled in that we just couldn’t leave out! Once again, this post is in memory of all of those blankets that just didn’t make it:

Sondra Makowski: “RIP blanket hood. In this pic it’s still halfway attached. Found it two days later as the horses were playing tug of war with it!”

Vanessa Sandhu: “Here is Jack taunting me after he tore the whole rear end off of his 2 day old blanket!”

Maggie Hitron: “Sad I missed the challenge! Especially in time for my horse to epically destroy his Rambo last evening…”

Katie Louise: “You shouldn’t have to bring in your horse and carry his blanket! Past being able to be repaired by duct tape.”
Keep an eye out every Tuesday for our 24-hour photo challenges!
