Thursday Morning Feed from Fleeceworks: USEF’s Horses of 2014
Find out who took the top honors!
Some of the top equine athletes representing multiple disciplines in the U.S. were awarded with the USEF Horse of Honor award in 2014.
The Pegasus Awards are given by the USEF each year, and one of the most prestigious is that of Horse of the Year. A National and an International Horse of the Year is awarded, and Beth Kornegay’s Fresian gelding, Elis GV, took home the National honors while Beezie Madden’s ride for Abigail Wexner, Cortes C, took home International Honors.
The USEF Network published a series of videos profiling each horse that was nominated for the Horse of the Year award, and it’s a really great look at the different disciplines that decorate equine sport. You’ve already checked out Elis GV and Cortes ‘C’ above, now take a look at the remaining Horses of Honor. Which would you have picked for Horse of the Year?
Go Riding, and Go Fleeceworks!
