7 Horses Celebrating “Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friends” Day
Because apparently that’s today.
Thanks to the power of the Internet, it is now possible to find out the special significance behind every day of the year–even if it’s completely ridiculous and most likely 100% made up.
Don’t tell that to these horses celebrating today’s holiday, though: “Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friends” day. Not that they needed permission or a special day to get themselves and everyone around them as muddy as possible.
The looped rope is giving me heart palpitations, but otherwise this pair having fun in the pond is absolutely adorable.

Of course there are those who wouldn’t deign to get their twinkle toes muddy…which can be a little unnerving when you’re not expecting to jump a 15-foot-spread liverpool!
