7 Best Moments from Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro: Grand Prix Special
The dynamic duo is kicking dressage butt and taking names.
With an 85.271% score for the Grand Prix and 86.120% for Grand Prix Special, the unstoppable Dujardin and Valegro are sitting in first place.
How does it feel to be her right now?
“Really really happy,” Charlotte said in an FEI interview, “Obviously after Aachen, it was a little bit of a wake-up call because it made me come back fighting.”
“We still knew we had a chance for a silver if I could pull out a good test, so that’s what I tried to do…and it worked!”
Well, obviously!
I just can’t get enough of the pair and how much they clearly love each other. Here are some of my favorite moments from their performance in the Grand Prix Special.

And how Valegro flicks out his little (well, giant) toes in the extended trot? I think I’m in love…
It’s so much more fun to watch these rocking-horse-like flying changes than to actually try to execute one.
Nothing better than when you know you’ve done well. (Especially if your definition of doing well is completely dominating dressage at WEG.)
