Video: If You’ve Seen the Viral Video of the Horse Galloping Alongside the Tour de France…

…brace yourself, because we’re about to show you something much, much more insane.

Here’s the Tour de France video, which has been making the rounds on social media this week:

According to Horse & Hound the rider, Howard Baker, was just having a bit of fun. Says Howard’s wife of his horse, Harry, “He’s a wonderful horse... He’s extraordinary, and very placid.”

That’s one way to spectate! This next video, however, is significantly less premeditated. In 1997 during the Critérium International, a two-day bicycle race also held in France, a horse actually jumped out of its paddock to “join the herd”:

Crazy.
