SpectraVET Performance of the Week: 2014 Shetland Pony Steeplechase at Devon

Specifically this week’s honor goes to pony Leo the Magnificent who, despite losing its rider somewhere along the way, managed to nearly win the race.

The races, new for 2014, are a stop on the WIHS Shetland Pony Steeplechase Championship Series. Held in the Dixon Oval, they offered a perfect storm of heart-stopping action and irresistible cuteness — I mean, one of the ponies was named My Friend Fluffy, for goodness sake. Enjoy!
