Looking to buy a nothing special horse next month – $500 (SoMd)
I am looking to buy/adopt/rescue a horse possibly next month, I figured i would get a head start on looking as I am looking for something specific.
I am looking to buy/adopt/rescue a gelding (or mare depending on the temperment) 15HH+ that can be a beginner horse, but also has some pick up and go when I ride. Preferably horse that will tolerate other geldings (I have 2, one of which is special needs and can not be ridden), also needs to be respectful of hot wire fencing, as my entire property is lined with it. Easy keeper is perfered, and barefoot is a must. Must be ok with being ridden with a hackamore or halter (I dont use bits).
I would like to stay under the age of 15 if possible, my only other riding horse is about 20 mow and I want something that I can love for years and years.
I would prefer to stay under $1,000 as I am not looking for show worthy steeds, I just want a trail riding partner and extra horse when I have family ride with me.
OH and i do NOT have a trailer so if you have one i WIll pay for the gas and maybe lunch??

I loved gong to the park for a few hours and the horse loved it also.
But they moved last year.
