Stomping through snow, shoveling paths, breaking iced-over water troughs–this is the kind of exercise you just can’t get any other time of year.

And rather than renting a barn down south, you can save your money for more important things, like winter inventory liquidation sales at the tack shop.
Seriously, what is more cozy than shopping for gloves with a fat cat?
Winter allows you to express yourself in new and creative ways, like wearing every type of plaid flannel you own at once, plus another couple layers for good measure!
Double the flannel, double the fashion.

And the cold weather will make your horse so much more forward!
Forget that, actually. Aren’t you just happy you finally have the time to stay in the barn and work on things like ground tying and brushing up on manners?
Or, um, on second thought, maybe your horse needs a winter vacation too.
Go Riding. (or speed through taking care of the horses, then come back and hibernate!)
