Video: Ice, ice, baby
Maureen Hall from Prospect Equine Farms in Ontario sent us this video of the aftermath from the recent ice storm that crippled parts of Central and Eastern Canada.
The massive ice storm slammed into southern Ontario the weekend before Christmas then moved east to impact the Maritimes and the northeastern United States. It coated trees and power lines with a thick layer of heavy ice, bringing them down and cutting off power to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses.
