SpectraVET Classic Performance of the Week: Stacy Westfall & Roxy

In 2006 Stacy Westfall rocked the AQHA Congress with a bridle-less, saddle-less reining freestyle that would later go viral on the web.

She and Whizards Baby Doll, a.k.a. “Roxy,” performed to the song “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw and dedicated the ride to her father, who had died just 24 days before. This is the original video (check out a better quality version here):

After she posted the video on her website in 2008, it attracted attention worldwide, including the notice of talk show host Ellen Degeneres, who invited Stacy on to her show:

In the years since, Stacy has become a top clinician, traveling the country to educate riders about the Westfall Horsemanship approach to horse training. Learn more about Stacy here.
