News: ‘Virginia woman rides horse to DMV’

Reader Paulette McElwain sent us a link to a story about a woman who traded in one kind of horsepower for another to get her license back.

According to Associated Press reports,  26-year-old Ashlee Owens grew frustrated after a paperwork mix-up resulted in suspension of her driver’s license. After repeated failed attempts to get the problem fixed, she decided to hand-deliver the correct paperwork to the DMV in downtown Richmond–on horseback.
