The new E. A. Mattes GOLD pads are made from the same design and high quality materials as the Platinum sheepskin pads but instead of full sheepskin panels, GOLD pads offer high loft, dense, 1-1/4” long wool on a fabric backing.

“These pads offer the high quality and excellent design features that Mattes is known for and now available to an even wider audience, as they are very well priced. We believe Mattes GOLD will fill a void currently in the wool saddle pad market,” said Robin Moore with World Equestrian Brands, LLC.

Riders will also be pleased to note that the sheepskin front and rear trim assures that the GOLD collection enjoys all the same color choices as the Mattes Couture Collection. Should Couture Collection colors be requested, the sheepskin trim is in the selected color while the panels (underside) remain a natural wool color. Melp is still recommended since the GOLD collection pads are still made partially with sheepskin.

The new E.A. Mattes GOLD pads come in a dozen Half, Square, EuroFit, Contour and Correction options.
