This video compilation of two dressage tests running side by side gives a glimpse at just how tough it is to judge dressage tests.

Watch Michael Jung of Germany ride FischerRocana FST on the right and Kenki Sato of Japan ride Chippieh on the left in the CIC2* dressage test at Radolfzell in Germany last week. Which test do you think was better?

Both judges had Kenki in first place with a score of 32.6, while Michael moved into fourth place on a score of 36.5. Kenki’s scores for each movement are here, and Michael’s scores for each movement are here.
