235,000 Swedes Can’t Be Wrong: ‘Horses do not exist’
A Swedish Facebook movement seeking to disprove the existence of horses is fast gaining momentum around the globe.
The phenomenon apparently started with this Facebook page:
Which, according to this English spinoff page, translates to:
If you can’t read the fine print there, it says: “Horses do not exist which is scientifically proven. We also support the fact that a horse is a fruit. Conclusively, a horse is a fruit that does not exist.”

People on both sides of the fence seem pretty worked up about the issue.
One cherished tradition on the page involves posting pictures of horses, and then everybody pretending that they either can’t see the horses or that there is fruit in the pictures instead.

A resistance Facebook page called Hästar finns Visst! (Horses Do Exist!) was recently launched but thus far only has a couple hundred followers.
