News: ‘Horse jumps fence, lands in South Florida swimming pool’
That’s the headline from a story published today in the Miami Herald about a wayward horse who, clearly, would make an excellent eventer.
As we have noted before, horses are all of the time needing to be rescued from swimming pools–see our recent story “HN Safety Tip of the Day: Don’t let your horse fall in a swimming pool.”
The latest equine victim of a swimming pool fail was a 30-year-old horse named Andy who, according to The Palm Beach Post, “jumped a fence and landed in the Loxahatchee swimming pool.”
The horse had to be pulled out by crane (for some awesome pictures of the rescue, go here) but thankfully came out of the incident without a scratch.
