News: Tinker, a 2.5-foot tall miniature horse, is the Salvation Army’s smallest bell ringer
But he raises about 10 times more money than human bell ringers–up to $2,500 a day, according to this story from ABC News.
Says the story, “Tinker not only rings the bell with his mouth, he also bows to his donators and picks up a banner that says ‘Thank you Merry Christmas,’ after passerby’s drop change into his kettle.”
