Flex’n Fork™ ‘Oh Crap’ Moment of the Day

Today’s super-crappy moment is brought to you by reader Kate Lloyd and our mucking fabulous sponsor Equi-Tee Mfg. Take it away, Kate!

Kate writes, “I love reading your ‘Oh Crap’ column, largely because I’m pretty sure my mare has provided me with enough photos to fill your column for a month…. at least. So it’s nice to know we aren’t the only ones! Anyway, I thought I’d send in my all-time favourite photo of my mare.

This photo was taken in the summer of 2011, and is probably my all-time favourite photo. My mare, Cadence, would have been 5 or 6 at the time and this was the first fence of the day, at her second or third XC school ever. The back rail was only 2’6″ tops, but where’s the fun in that? After that first fence she settled down & we had a beautiful school. As for her having a bit too much fun with the jumping…. well, not much has changed!”

Thanks for sharing, Kate!

Do you have an “Oh Crap” moment you’d like to share with hundreds of Horse Nation readers? (We’ll laughing with you, not AT you–promise!) Email your photo or video link to [email protected] and be sure to include a brief description of what happened!

When the manure hits the fan, only the best will do. Flex’n Fork™ , by Equi-Tee Mfg., is the sturdiest fork in the land thanks to flexible tines that bend rather than break. Learn more about Flex’n Fork and other Equi-Tee products by clicking the link below!
