Tuesday Morning Feed from Dubarry

Hello Horse Nation! Here’s hoping your Tuesday is off to a bang.

Yesterday, Horse Nation shared on its Facebook wall a show poster from one of my fave bands, Wilco, from the Forecastle Festival they played in Louisville, KY on Sunday.

My friend Kaitlyn and I got to looking at whom else played the festival, and I’m not going to name any names but… OK, I’ll name a few… Beach House, Sleigh Bells, Lucero, Andrew Bird, the Features, My Morning Jacket, Fruit Bats, Neko Case and I’m just going to stop already. I’m old and out of the cool-kid loop, so I hadn’t heard about the festival before it happened, but Kaitlyn and I pledged to get to another festival ourselves, maybe even before the summer is out. When it comes to activities performed not on the back of a horse, it doesn’t get much better than sitting around in the sunshine, listening to music with friends.

Naturally, all this festival plotting got me to thinking about Dubarry’s “Fabulous Festival Feet” giveaway.
