Monday Morning Feed from SmartPak

Good morning, Horse Nation! Writing this, it’s 5:20 a.m. and I just narrowly resisted the urge to throw my alarm clock at the wall, so we should all be grateful for that.

Temps are still hovering in the “ridiculous” range here in Tennessee. Last week, I announced to my riding students that I would not be teaching any lessons in the afternoon/evening, and that if they wanted to ride, they could have a lesson at sunup. I didn’t really think anyone would take me up on it, but alas, one plucky student signed up for 6:15 a.m. And that’s what coffee is for.

I AM looking forward to Horse Nation being back in full swing after a relaxing weekend. We’ve got some exciting stuff lined up, including but not limited to voting opening for the final contestants in our One K USA Helmet Giveaway. Just in time for the 4th of July, things are about to get real patriotic up in here.
