Hey Horse Nation! Hey! New girl in town. Can we be friends?

Since Horse Nation’s inception just over a month ago, Leslie Wylie has sustained a blazing post-rate no mere mortal should hope to match. Intrepidly, it’s my goal to help her—however modestly—in keeping you up-to-date on the entire interweb’s worth of breaking horse news and ridiculousness.

First thing’s first. Allow me to introduce myself:

A keen sportswoman, Abby Gibbon has fallen off literally hundreds of horses and almost always remounts. She was a member of the Howard County Pony Club (Md.) and the Y2K USPC International Mounted Games team; taught lessons to Emma Thompson and Noel Gallagher’s daughters at London’s Hyde Park Stables; formerly worked and currently freelances for the Chronicle of the Horse, and presently events her superstar Oldenburg mare Prima LGF at the preliminary level.
