Let’s Discuss: Fueling dreams
I love my big red F250… except when I’m filling up the tank. According to USA Today this is the 27th day straight that gas prices have risen, with predictions of $4.25/gallon by April. Um, don’t they know it’s show season?
And that’s just for regular gas–not the significantly more expensive diesel that many of us need for our trailer-hauling trucks. Truthfully, the idea of hitching up and traveling to a horse show several hours away with a couple horses in tow and pitiful fuel efficiency makes me a little weak in the knees.
So, Horse Nation, I’m curious: Will high prices at the gas pump impact your show season? If so, how? Do you have any creative strategies for combating rising fuel costs?
