The story of an inter-species relationship between an orphaned fox and a Jack Russell in England has been making headlines around the world.
The fox, Anuska, was orphaned shortly after birth when her mother was hit by a car. She and eight other cubs were taken in by a farmer, who raised them in the company of the farm’s Labradors before adopting them out to homes. Anuka’s new owners, Brian and Jacky Bevan, were delighted when Anuska took up with their Jack Russell, Sadie. The unlikely couple now spends its days alternately cuddling and frolicking.
