Video du Jour: ‘Air Horse One’ touches down in Montana
On July 19, 2011, a 747 arrived at Glacier International Airport with some very precious cargo–a handful of the nation’s top event horses.
Nineteen of the 28 horses taking part in The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana, were flown in on the plane, accompanied by their riders. First Class Equine Air Travel–or “Air Horse One,” as it’s been affectionately dubbed–is based out of Lexington, Kentucky. The jet can carry a load of 21 horses and 15 passengers.
